The bigger picture

Explore the image side of Grok Imagine

Grok Imagine includes image creation tools from xAI. This guide focuses on the image models available in Quickmake: starting with a written description, exploring a composition, and using the selected result in a design. It does not cover the wider Grok video catalogue.

Image 2.0 and Quality are separate entries in the generator. Keep their identities explicit when saving a prompt or comparing results. A strong evaluation brief specifies the subject, lighting, framing, and details to inspect; a visually appealing sample alone cannot tell you how a model will handle your next project.

Ways to use Grok Imagine

01

Set the scene

Describe the location, subject, and light before adding stylistic detail. Start with one focal point you can evaluate clearly.

02

Try a reference-led variation

Upload an image and specify which part should change. Keep the original nearby to compare details.

03

Turn a concept into a social asset

Place the chosen image into a social layout. Add your own text and branding at the intended viewing size.

Where to start

  • Explore xAI’s image model alongside the other supported families in one workflow.
  • Use reference images when a written brief alone leaves too much ambiguity.
  • Keep the generation and the final design as separate creative steps.

What to check

  • This page covers the image model. Video generation has separate model choices and settings.
  • Inspect small objects, repeated patterns, and any lettering at full resolution.
  • An appealing first image does not establish consistency across a series; compare several briefs before committing.
