The bigger picture

Generations and variants, explained together

FLUX spans multiple generations of image models from Black Forest Labs. Names such as Pro, Dev, Schnell, Ultra, and Max describe different offerings within that history. “FLUX Pro” without its generation leaves out an important part of the choice: FLUX.1 Pro and FLUX1.1 Pro are separate releases.

Use the family as a toolkit for exploring compositions, materials, illustration styles, and photographic scenes. Compare versions with a shared brief before investing in refinements. The table groups every FLUX option currently supported in Quickmake by generation, with the relevant release source alongside each one.

Ways to use FLUX

01

Explore composition first

Use a simple brief to try framing, subject placement, and overall color. Resolve those choices before adding many small details.

02

Compare the relevant version

FLUX is a family, not a single model. Compare the versions that support your task and check the quote for each.

03

Prepare the finished design

Use your selected image as a canvas asset. Add editable copy and export the layout in the format your project needs.

Where to start

  • Choose a FLUX version explicitly rather than relying on a family name alone.
  • Use a common prompt to compare visual directions and credit estimates.
  • Develop illustrations, backgrounds, or product-scene concepts for a larger design.

What to check

  • Editing support differs between FLUX versions; the model table show the integration’s available workflow.
  • Do not assume that parameters or output behavior transfer unchanged between FLUX generations.
  • Check anatomy, text, and repeated elements before approving a final asset.

FLUX questions

It includes every FLUX image model currently supported in Quickmake. The provider may offer other models, tools, or modes that are not integrated here.
Dates refer to the linked provider announcement or launch notes, not the date a model was added to Quickmake. If a dated release source is not confirmed, the table says so and links to documentation instead.
Start with a version that supports your task, then compare its quote and results with another version using the same brief. There is no universal best choice across all styles and editing requirements.
No. Support varies by version and integration. Check the workflow listed on each card and the controls available in Quickmake before preparing an editing brief.
You can read this page and explore the prompts without signing in. Generating an image requires a Quickmake account and sufficient AI credits. The generator shows the estimate before you submit.
